Stephen Hill is an academic and writer whose work focuses on pop culture. His PhD thesis looked at the British music press and he has published articles on NME, Smash Hits, The Face and Q. Along the way he has interviewed people who shaped the industry including Nick Logan, Ian Cranna, David Hepworth and Mark Ellen. In addition to this he teaches at The Burgate Sixth Form and Bournemouth Media School. He also writes for Media Magazine, Routledge Media and Media Edu.
